We are currently approved by IMCA to carry out assessment of experienced commercial offshore divers. Many candidates have good practical skills in a range of competencies but from experience we know many do not have the background theoretical knowledge in order to pass the final written examination. This is usually because they have either never had the opportunity to undertake a commercial diver training course or have simply forgot what they were taught!
Our “Pre-assessment” course addresses this problem by teaching (or revising) the theory of diving physics, physiology and current safe practices to international codes of practice.
Individuals who successfully complete the actual assessment programme receive a numbered certificate bearing their photograph. These certificates are issued by us but are accepted by IMCA and included in the list of IMCA-recognised diving certificates as IMCA surface supplied diver.
