This is a highly specialised skills course training divers to weld various metals underwater.
The skills required to perform this task underwater is far greater than on the surface due usually to the medium (fresh or salt water) and restricted view the diver has (sometimes little view!).
These skills cannot be taught in a couple of days and require a level of competence in order to pass a practical qualification examination using modern techniques to the standards required by the American Welding Society (AWS) or British Standard (BS).
On successful completion of the course you will be issued with an internationally recognised certificate of competence enabling you to work as a qualified diver welder. |
