This course is for experienced commercial offshore air divers who wish to follow the IMCA scheme and become a supervisor. The sceme requires you to undertake this approved training course, log the required practical experience offshore (after passing the course), then be sponsored by an IMCA member company to take the IMCA Supervisor examination.

Eligibility:
To qualify as a Trainee Air Diving Supervisor, you must meet the following minimum criteria: a) Hold an IMCA recognised surface supplied diving qualification. If you believe you have comparable training and experience you may apply to the IMCA schemes administrator for a decision on your elligibility by the Assessment Panel. b) Have demonstrated competence as an offshore air diver (not SCUBA) and have completed 100 offshore commercial dives. You are not allowed to attend this course unless you meet the criteria at a) and b) above.
