This course covers the theory of commercial diving operations including Physics, Physiology and general Diving procedures as preparatory to sitting the ADC Inshore Supervisor written examination.

The ADC scheme requires that any prospective diving supervisor;

Must have held an HSE Part III or equivalent for at least 2 years;

Must have at least 200 logged commercial dives (not including training dives) of which at least 100 must have been carried out inland / inshore in the UK or Ireland;

Must be recommended in writing as suitable by a senior person in an inland / inshore diving contractor;

Must pass a written examination set by ADC
